Move the aircraft position marker by dragging, or double-click anywhere on the map (except inside the footprint outline).
Select your camera in the preset dropdown. Alternatively, click the down arrow to enter custom camera settings.
Enter your altitude and select feet or meters as your unit.
Alternatively, use the right-side up/down arrows at the bottom of the page to change altitude in 10 ft or m increments.
If desired, change your gimbal angle using the left-side up/down arrows at the bottom of the page.
If a different heading is desired, click on the aircraft marker to bring up the rotation icon. Drag to the desired heading. Double-click to reset the heading to 0. Click the aircraft marker again to hide the rotation icon.
Additional info:
Camera presets are based upon best available data from multiple sources, and should be within a few degrees of FOV of actual. If you find errors, or would like another camera added, please contact us.
The information window at the top displays the footprint in the selected units, Field of View, Ground Sampling Distance (ie, resolution), pixel resolution, and area in both selected units and acres.
The footprint changes from green to red with the gimbal points the top of the camera above the horizon. The far distance (height) is adjusted to an approximation of the usable distance. Otherwise the distances would generally quadruple.
